Collaborative animated tribute to late Women guitarist will screen in front of A City is an Island at Commonwealth on Monday, June 22, 6:30pm
Produced by Quickdraw Animation Society and featuring 17 animators including Chad VanGaalen, Kiarra Albina and Brandon Blommaert, this 10-minute film is scored to a compilation of Chris’ unreleased ambient recordings. Pal Morgan Greenwood (Azeda Booth and Baths) produced the soundtrack.
The film will screen as part of the Sled Island music festival, in front of A City Is An Island, a 72 minute feature that explores the juxtaposition of Quebec’s linguistic identity and its thriving enclave of English-speaking artists. We hope to see you there!
